SERVICE: In-Hospital

LOCATION: Marin General Hospital

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Originally from Seattle, Jill now lives by Ocean Beach in San Francisco and is thrilled to be a California midwife! Jill graduated from Stanford University in 2012 with a B.A. in Human Biology, University Distinction, and Phi Beta Kappa honors. She spent the next several years working in schools and community clinics as a health educator, then went on to receive her B.S. in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University in 2015.

She completed her nurse-midwifery training at the University of California San Francisco, where she graduated with an M.S. in Nursing in 2017. She had the joy of completing her final nurse-midwifery residency with the Prima midwifery group, and has been working with that group at Marin General Hospital and the Marin Community Clinics since her graduation. She was drawn to this group of midwives by their uniform respect for the physiology of pregnancy and birth and their dedication to providing compassionate and holistic midwifery care.

Jill holds particular interest in adolescent health, gynecology, group prenatal care, and trauma-informed care. Her goal is for the patients and families she works with to feel empowered by their pregnancies and births, however they unfold. She speaks both English and Spanish.
