Vanessa Evers

Vanessa Evers became a nurse-midwife and women's health nurse practitioner to empower women through patient-centered, low-intervention care. She obtained a Master of Science in nursing from the UCSF School of Nursing and has been happily working at CPMC Mission Bernal (formerly known as St. Luke's Hospital) ever since. She is proud to work at a hospital that strives to be evidence-based, family-centered, and full of heart.

She lives in San Francisco with her wife, not far from where she grew up. When she's not at the hospital, you can find her hiking on Mount Tamalpais or crafting at her sewing machine while listening to a steady stream of "This American Life." She speaks Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
