Join the ACNM / CNMA!
Your ACNM / CNMA membership comes with so many benefits!
The California Nurse-Midwives Association is the California affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Your CNMA membership dues are paid with your ACNM membership and then split between the ACNM and CNMA to help fund legislation advocating for California nurse-midwives, midwifery students, and the communities we serve. Dues also provide educational opportunities for nurse-midwives and students in your community, state, and nation. Only members have access to the many additional personal and professional benefits and resources offered by the combined strengths of the ACNM and CNMA, including professional briefs, mentoring, scholarships, discounts on continuing education, job postings nationwide, nationwide networking on CONNECT, and much more!

ARE YOU A MIDWIFE OF COLOR?
Participation by midwives of color (MOC) in the CNMA is vital to the progress of midwifery in California and demands our urgent support. To encourage more MOC to join, the CNMA is waiving the California affiliate fee for NEW California members who identify as MOC and join the ACNM. USE COUPON CODE: CA2020.
Please contact our Membership Chair, Melanie Cabezas Phipps, at membership@cnma.org with any questions.
Where exactly do my membership fees go?
The CNMA leadership is 100% volunteer-based, and we are not paid for this work. So where does your money go?
We use your dues to pay our lobbyist, social media consultant, and attorney. The money you pay to maintain your CNMA membership is an investment in all the work we do to support midwives and our communities.
